Looks burnt to me.

And why does the middle of the left hand side of the slice on the left look untoasted?
I’d stick your bread under your oven grill if I were you, it would do a better job.
I like the lines on the right slice though, you know, the Burger King style lines of burntness…
The bread was cut unevenly, by myself, with a knife. Hence the uneven toastage.
What, you cut the bread in a style the leaves lines of burnt-ness?
